NIT warangal is slightly better than NIT Surathkal in terms of placements. The highest package at NIT warangal for 2018 was 39lpa and highest package at NIT surathkal was 36.7 lpa. Both are stunning packages. You can absolutely choose any of these now. Because the placements rate is growing

Ok no problem because for eligibility you need to have aggregate 75% in board examination (not in only PCM) or if it not satisfies then you should be in top 20% of that particular board .

So the person will be eligible for JEE Advanced .

In Jee advanced score does not matter .To get admission in old IITs main thing is what rank you get.But you must expect that to admission in old IITs with good rank you should score very good rank.

You can also check previous year opening and closing ranks
