First of all congratulations for your result.
According to last year's cut off (OBC NCL) closing rank hardly goes to 4000.So you won't be able to get any IIT.

You will be able to get admission in both IITS and NITs. In my opinion you should go for nit because you can't be able to get good branches in top and old IITS with your rank(7240). but you can get a descent branch in some top nits like:-
