Hi, I got 76.897 percentile in jee mains (General category). Is there any chance of getting an nit?

Hi.

Unfortunately, you probably won't be eligible for JEE advanced.
I mean, the expected cutoff is supposed to be 78.5 percentile for the OBC category. Which means you will miss out only by a small margin. But don't worry yet, the NTA is yet to announce it's actual cutoff. Things

Hello Kaustabha,

As per the realesed cutoffs of various categories to qualify for JEE advanced from Mains the cutoff for general is set high at 89.75 percentile. Anyone scoring 89.75 or above that is eligible to take JEE advanced.

Can bihar engineering accept students who have not qualified for jee advance

Hello Amit,

Bihar Engineering colleges take their intakes with regional engineering entrance examination called BCECE 

students need to qualify bcece to get admission into Bihar Engineering Colleges. There is no certain rule of qualifying JEE ADVANCED as well.

Yes you are qualified for JEE advanced because the cutoff is 78.5 percentile for OBC category students.

yes you are eligible for JEE advance.

the cutoff of JEE main of  Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) is 74.3166557.
