I got 74 percentile in jee mains2019 . I belongs to obc category . Is i eligible for jee advanced?

Dear Vakada,

74 percentile is approximately equal to 46-48 and cutoff for JEE Advance 2019 for OBC Candidate is 74.31. So you are not eligible to  seat in JEE Advance 2019. But never lose hope you can get admission in another private colleges.

Hello aspirant, 

You have to understand this fact that just qualifiying Jee advanced will not fetch you any seat in the iits, although you have category but there are only 11k around seats in the iits in which only 27 percent of the seats are kept for obc category.

No getting the last qualified rank won't help. You have to get a rank great enough to defeat your competitors from getting admission before you in the best preferred branch.

And with the last qualified rank you won't be able to get admitted to the IITs, so aim for better

JEE Advanced Syllabus 2019 has been announced by IIT Roorkee on November 6. The syllabus covers questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics based on Class 11 and 12 of Science stream.

 Only doing previous year paper is not enough for Jee exams. There are really tough competition between the students... I suggest you that you should practice last 6-7 year question paper... Clear your concepts, know about your topics... Atleast you should do self studies 5-6 hours.... Take
