Devika Malik 25th May, 2026

Hi,

With 94.2 percentile in JEE Main, getting CSE at Dharmsinh Desai University is very difficult, even through management quota, because Computer Engineering there is extremely competitive.

Hello Dear Student,

With 62% in CBSE , you may not meet eligibility for many NITs/IIITs/GFTIs through JoSAA, but you still have good options for CSE through private colleges and state counselling.

Based on your scores:

  • COMEDK (40 marks): You can target tier-2/tier-3 Karnataka colleges like:
    • Acharya Institute of Technology

My JEE rank is 126666, genral category. I have got VIT vellore ECE. Also according to predictor I have a good chance in MAIT, and also in Maharashtra all India CAP counselling. I belong to delhi which college should I choose either between them or any other. My preffered branches are ECE, mechancial, EEE, Aerospace engeenering.

Devika Malik 26th May, 2026

Hi,

Among your options, I’d personally suggest:

• VIT Vellore ECE → Best overall exposure, placements, and flexibility
• MAIT ECE → Good option if budget/location matters
• Maharashtra CAP → Only worth it if you get top colleges like COEP/VJTI/PICT

For branches, my recommendation would be:
ECE > EEE

Hello Dear Student,

With 92.22 percentile in JEE Main , your expected General rank is roughly around 75k–85k .
