i got 77.99 percentile in JEE mains 2021 and I belongs to sc category.My category rank is 11,000.can I get seat in iiit Bangalore and I want to take ECE branch.

Hi,

IIIT Bangalore is not a Institute of National Importance. It is a private Institute. Because of this it doesn't have any separate quota for SC, ST, OBC, EWS. The councelling for IIIT Bangalore is held seperately from JOSAA. Following are the cutoff for IIIT Banglore in 2020:

Congratulations on your result! According to some of the websites the the cutoff percentile needed to get into NITs, IIITs and GFTIS is around 75% or you need be in the top 20 percentile of their 10+2 board.

With 89.29 Percentile in JEE Main, being from General Category, I dont think youll be able to secure a seat in any of the NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. You should rather try for State Engineering Colleges if Admission is through JEE Main Scorecard. You even have excellent chances in securing
