hloo.. I had passed my class 12 standard this year in 2021 but unfortunately got only 74 % percentage . I want to know that will the eligibility criteria to get 75% in boards still be applicable in 2022 as i am a dropeer ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 31st Jul, 2021

Hi

There is no percentage barrier to be eligible for JEE main so you will be eligible for JEE main 2022 even if you have 74% in 12th. And with 12th passing year in 2021 , you are eligible for jee main 2023 as well.

is nta removes eligibility criteria 75% in classes 12 for jee advance 2021

siddharthabiswas609 31st Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant,

The criteria of obtaining a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category)  in class 12 or equivalent as an eligibility criteria for jee advanced has been removed. Similarly for admission in Nits and IITs.
This was due to cancellation of board exams.

I hope this helps
