In Which college can I get admission by JEE main in 64 percentile by home state Punjab a general student

Maniprabha Singh 25th Feb, 2026

The percentile is low. It is hard to get into any good college within the state. We suggest applying to university-level entrance exams such as VITEEE, SRMJEE, AEEE, or LPUNEST, or choosing private institutes nearby.

Chintakuntla Sai Gnan 27th Feb, 2026

Hi Zack,

As per previous years trends, you may get JEE Main rank around 77,000 with this 94.7 percentile. It is very difficult and impossible to get CSE in NIT Jamshedpur under OBC category. Because the closing rank in final CSAB special round in 2025 was 21,000. Check the link

how apply in college after jee mains

Sonia Vats 25th Feb, 2026

After JEE Main, you need to register for counselling through JoSAA (for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs) or apply separately to state/private colleges that accept JEE scores. Fill in your choices, participate in seat allotment rounds, and complete document verification and fee payment to confirm your admission.
