JoSAA
Hello,
Yes you can accept the seat if you have secured seat in JoSAA counselling in any round and if you are satisfied with the allotment. You can participate in further rounds if you want to upgrade but retain the seat that you got in round 1. This can be done by selecting float as willingness by doing so you can retain the seat and participate in round 2.
Hi Aspirant!
Yes,you can definitely use the SC certificate which is digitally signed and is verified from the central format. But for the easy the condition that certificate should be in the format defined by JoSSA, if it is not then maybe you have to face difficulty when reporting at the centre.
I hope it helps.

Happy Hustling!
Yes, you should upload the original OBC certificate in JoSAA portal in order to avoid problems during admission. I don't think there will be any problem if the certificates don't match. They will definitely consider the new one. Make sure to submit the correct document during admission to the college.
All the best.

Hi there,
In JoSaa councelling, you can select as many colleges as you want. It is always preferable to select the maximum no. of colleges as this increases the probability of getting the seat in the college. So,select the maximum colleges and rearrange them in order of your preference.
You can use the following link to predict the colleges based on your rank:

Good Luck for future!!
Dear Aspirant,
To get admission in NIT you need to clear JEE Main entrance exam while to get admission in IIT you need to clear JEE Advance exam. The total number of seats in NIT are 21,133 and total number of seats in IIIT are 4300 approximately. So your rank must atleast be under 20,000 to get admission in NIT.With 44000 rank its way too difficult to get NIT or IIIT.
You can try in your state government college.Your rank is good enough to get you admission in good state government college.
Thank you
