SRINITYA 30th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

If you are attending both the colleges and accepted the seat in both the colleges, then you will have to pay the fees for both the colleges which will be non-refundable and you will not be able to participate in the next rounds. You should also submit your certificates in any one of the college and you will not get your certificates back after you submit them and no college will accept if you don't submit your certificates on time.SO take a wise decision about which college to join at the right time to avoid problems

Palak kumari 6th Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant,

Since you haven't mentioned that if it is your CRL rank or CATEGORY rank or home state quota rank. So, considering it to be your CRL rank then you may get some of the NITS, IIITS, GFTIS but you may have to compromise with your desired branch if it is CS, IT or ECE.

So, for a clear cut list of cutoffs of colleges you may refer to the links mentioned below-

is their any chance for the students whose jee mains general category CRL rank is 6.5-7 lakh getting college through josaa counciling

ritikaprasad.work 8th Oct, 2020

Hey there!

You can apply for jossa counselling but you won't be able to get a college through that unless your home state is assam or goa. If you've appeared for jee mains you can apply for counselling. You need to qualify the mains examination to appear for the advanced which provides admission into IITs. So, if your home state cutoffs don't go as far as 7 lacs which is the most likely scenario, you won't get a college through the counselling. You can check out which colleges you can get admitted into using you jee ranking by using the jee main college predictor link below

If the first preferred college has allocated in any of the rounds in JoSAA councelling , will it be freezed automatically?

ARYAN SAGAR 25th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

If you got allotted any seat in josaa counseling, then you will have the option to freeze, slide or float your seat. It doesn't matter that you get your first preferred college or your last, in either way if you got any seat then you must have to slide, float or freeze it.
Also note that for any preferred choice of college the freezing of seat will not automatically happen, you have to do it manually. And if you didn't take action after the seat allotment then your seat will get cancelled and you will not eligible to participate in further josaa rounds.
So freezing will not happen automatically even if it's your first preferred college or your last preferred college.

in josaa councelling we have to only fill the choices and save...then what does this means please explain?? kya humri choices pahuch gyi hongi ??

Karam Vir 6th Oct, 2020

Hi,

The Joint Allocation Authority has commenced the JoSAA counselling registration and choice filling from 6th October. It will be conducted in six rounds. You have to register yourself first then filling and lock your preferences. Yes, your choices are saved by locking the preference you have given. It is the same way as you fill an application form for any examination and by clicking submit , it is submitted. So, do not panic. Your preferences are saved if you have locked them.

Hope your query is cleared.
