Hi, as per me E&I in NIT Agartala is a better option than ece in NERIST. The placement in ece are not upto the mark. Some of the current occasional recruiters are like Tech Mahindra, Power Grid Cooperation of India, Oil India, Wipro, TCS, Cummin India, Asahi Glass, Infosys, and some other regional companies.
Looking at the placement of NIT Agartala, it has great placement records. Last year around 22 companies visited the campus. The highest salary package offered was Rs 36 LPA and the average salary package offered was between Rs 4.5-5 LPA. Infosys emerged to be the star recruiter with 69 job offers. Top companies such as Accenture, IBM, McAfee, Google and Morgan Stanley visited the campus this year for recruitment.
So I would say NIT Agartala is better. Rest you can choose accordingly.

It is a very common notion that engineering is not for girls .This seems true when you see the gender ratios in the engineering classroom . But in my view it doesn't matter if you like the subject . Slowly slowly you get use to with the class . After btech you can do mba so that you can get a job which include management rather on field work .Try talking to a girl who is an engineer ,she will guide you better in this .
Best wishes

Hi aspirant,
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is going to conduct the counselling process for admission into NITs, IITs, IIITs, IIEST and GFTIs from tomorrow i.e. October 6. After JoSAA counselling gets over, Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) conducts special round or spot round counselling to fill the vacant seats which are leftover after JoSAA counselling in NIT+ system only. For the process of seat allocation only Common Rank list (CRL) and NOT category rank is considered in special round counselling. Usually it is conducted in altogether two rounds. Meanwhile, you can use the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link to predict your college and branch options based on your rank and make your preference order the best. https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope it helps you.
Dear Student,
In JOSSA it is not required but for admission it depends on the authority who is verifying your documents at the time of admission. You should have obc-ncl certificate and income certificate for the safe side because they sometimes ask about family income proof which is necessary at the time of admission or else they can reject your seat so have income certificate for the safe side.It is not mentioned in the documents required if you can make income certificate then it will be good. The documents required for JOSSA are
Provisional JoSAA Seat Allotment Letter 2020
3 passport size photographs
A valid photo Identity Card
Original JEE Advanced Admit Card 2020
Proof of Seat Acceptance fee payment ( the e-challan )
Proof of Date of Birth
Class10th and 12th (or equivalent) Mark Sheet and Certificate
Category Certificate (if needed)
Medical certificate/fitness certificate
Registration form with Locked Choices for Seat Allotment
