Dear Basu, for starters you need to have a minimum of 16 years of formal education. You need to be an undergraduate to be eligible for Master's in Communication and Journalism. The Bachelor degree needn't necessarily be in the same stream. You need to appear for either GRE or TOEFL

my advice would be to opt for master's instead of job until and unless you have any responsibility. Rest is your decision. Still you can have options in below:

According to their official site, they just have B.A. in mass communication.

On other hands, yes, you may apply for the course under the General Category. But you need to show the College the documents under which you are eligible for the quota and is difficult to predict
