Exams are held twice a year, and candidates can take the exam as many times as they wish as long as they meet the other eligibility requirements. If you are taking the UGC NET JRF exam, you must be at least 30 years old.

Yes, JRF is available for both CSIR NET as well as UGC NET, the eligibility criteria for each one has been mentioned below-
CSIR NET - Passed BTech/Bpharm/BS degree of four years/Integrated MSc or BS-MS securing 55% aggregate are also eligible to apply, for reserved category they need merely 50%,
UGC NET - Passed master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university securing 55% aggregate, for reserved category there is relaxation of 5%

NTA conducts the UGC NET Exam twice a year to determine the eligiblity of candidates for the post of Assistant professor and junior Research Fellowship in the Indian government universities and colleges.The NTA will release the UGC NET cut off 2021(December 2020 cycle) in PDF form on its official website @ugcnet.nta.nic.in.The cutoff marks are released as percentile scores for Hindi,English, and commerce subjects.Whereas,for all other subjects the cut-off scores are provided as percentage marks.Candidates will have to score the qualifying marks in both papers of UGC NET to get shortlisted for JRF.The UGC NET qualifying marks is 40(40%) out of 100 marks in paper I & II.The NTA UGC NET 2021 cut off marks are the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to score to qualify in the exam.Candidates who score equal to or more than the cut off will be qualify in the UGC NET Exam.The benifits of getting JRF is you can work in top laboratories,You can join top University as an assistant professor, opportunities to join PSUs,you can become an author and publish your book, higher preference in any job opportunity and many more.NET JRF Scholarship Amount is INR 31,000/- for initial 2 years and INR 35,000/- for remaining tenure.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.
To appear for the UGC NET exam, the candidates are required to have obtained a master's degree or equivalent with 55% marks. The upper age limit for this exam is 30 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates).

This is known as the GATE qualified Junior Research Fellowship. However, MTech candidates (either with BTech/ MTech or with MSc/ MTech) are not eligible for this fellowship. They have a separate opportunity for direct SRFship through interview.

Yes, you are eligible to pursue UGC NET exam conducted by UGC.
Educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates.
