While IIMs, XLRI, ISB and other stand-alone institutes offer a fellow programme in management ( FPM ), universities and the IITs and NITs offer a ' PhD ' in management. The difference between a PhD and FPM is similar to the distinction between an MBA and PGDM.
This is the eligibility criteria The applicants must have completed master's degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc., from UGC -recognised universities/institutions.

see now a days it is quite difficult to secure a job in any field , now to get teaching or lecturer position in any government institute you have to apply in recruitment process. so basically job hunting a long process and it would take time which can not be predicted. due to corona pandemic recruitment program is at halt , so you must make resume and make profile if websites like naukri, times job, linkedin, indeed like platforms. also apply for private colleges which has similar course like your back ground.

But as as you have post graduation in Microbiology then the best and right option for you is CSIR NET Life Sciences. Anyways to answer your query, coming from microbiology , it will be easy to cover the subject topics for NET. After clearing JRF you will be very much eligible for research fellowship and you can pursue PhD in Microbiology as well in any UGC recognized institution in India.

Yes , you are very much eligible to apply for fellowship. Animal sciences is a field related to environmental science. The NET notification has stated that, if your subject is not mentioned in the list of NET subjects, you can take up related subjects and clear NET . Anyways it is better to discuss with your department in the college where you are pursuing PhD. They will be able to give the correct guidance.
