JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru
hi rekha!
I recommend PES university, Bangalore. The labs Electronics and communication are state of the art and up to mark in terms of infrastructure which is great. PES University has a vast exposure in terms of placements and they correspond to the industry through internships but which will give you a focussed study and approached orientation. SJCE is also ok but it is not that better than PES in terms of exposure and placements.
Hello..
The Fee Structure of SJCE Mysore admission fees for BE Civil Engineering is:-
76,360 /- is of Per Year...
These college has Good Placement..
There is an efficient placement cell consisting placement facilitators and secretaries from each branch. The cell sorts out placement training. The placement for circuit branches is high and practically 100%. Not with standing for Non circuit branches the placement are very great. There are like 10-20 core companies which regularly visits our campus.
Hope these will be helpfull...
All the best!!

Hello Shivkumar !
As per you query firstly I wanna say you that SJCE is undoubtedly one of the best colleges in Mysore. The campus is beautiful and is very well maintained. It mainly depends on what branch you take up, but generally all the branches have some exceptionally good professors. It has the coolest crowd in Mysore. Once you become a JCite, it's like a brand. You will have an amazing time in college. One will enjoy their 4 years to the fullest. There are many clubs in our college like IEEE-SJCE (student branch of IEEE), LCC(Linux), TESLA, PHOTO-ON(Photography) , SAHAS(Adventure), AEROJC (RC plane making) etc. There are many hangouts in and around the college. There is a place called Nescafe and the most popular "Yampa" in our college. We all love hanging out there. The placements are excellent. The hostel is not that good, but there are many PGs and flats available nearby.

Feel freeto ask further .
The quality of education at both the institutes is good . The students are also very supportive at both the institutions , but the crowd at nirma university is slightly better then sjce . The rules at nirma university are very strict than sjce , the sudents have to get an attendance above 85% .The faculty is better at sjce than nirma university . The labs at both the institutes are very good and the maintainence of labs is also good . Both the universities have the facilities like huge playground, gym , good library etc: At both the universities the students have to write many assignments and internals exam .Sjce is famous for its 5 year programme scheme . The placements at both the institutes is very good especially for computer science students . The students get an average annual package of around RS. 4 LAKHS TO RS. 6 LAKHS which varies every year. So , in conclusion both the institutes are very good at their respective levels.
greetings,
although both are private colleges, new horizon is better than sjce in terms of placement. the average package of new horizon is 6lpa while that of sjce is 3 lpa.

Hello pragya,
In reference with cutoff ranks in year 2018 for both sjce and vidya varadaka college , am sorry but you wil any get a seat in any branch with 114000 rank! If your rank was somewhere below 40k then you might had a chance as you belong to 2A category . If you still want to continue your studies in engineering then you have other good colleges ( not exactly top ones) like mit or atme. Good luck!
Hello Vanditha,
I understand your concern and I will help you regarding your query!
I personally advice you to choose PES university, Bangalore. The labs were perfect for Electronics and communication in here also the infrastructure is great. PES University has a vast exposure to industry but which will give you a focussed study and proper orientation. SJCE is also pretty good but it is not that exposed to industry and placements too. PES has various sectors to learn and perform so you can consider it as one of the top colleges to study ECE.
Feel free to ask us in the comment section below for the further information and assistance.
Hope it helps and all the very best !
