Jute and Fiber Technology
Hi there,
Currently all these three sections of engineering has not a decent scope in India, although bthere are many laboratories where gentical research are being carried out and many genetic engineers are there, but the salary is not that good at initial level, if you have masters degree as well then you might get a good salary still there are no such good opportunities in the current scenario for anybof the above mentioned branches.
The main reason is the only few college like
Provides these branches there are no IITs or NITs offering it,
Hence I would suggest that if you can patiently work with this then might be after 10 years the scenario change.i hope this help
Dear Aspirant,
These branches are new emerging and developing branch of engineering these are developing as engineers are using their abstract ideas to create better for mankind like robotics multifunctional manipulator , biomedical combination of engineering and health sciences , biotech amalgamates the facts from both Biological sciences and technology, ceramics study of the manufacture, properties, design and uses of ceramic related things. These are developing engineering branches you can get decent job offers and these have plenty of scopes. for better understanding . refer this article

Hi
If we are particularly talking about medical research, then btech biotechnological has more scope. Biotechnology is basically a research based course itself. You get many work opportunities in this field and also there's demand for biotech researchers.
On the other hand, biomedical science is also a good subject but has scope only when you go for higher studies and will prove good when you choose the clinical field. B pharma and biomedical science somewhat has similar scope and work opportunities are also limited.
Thanks
hi,

Hey there!
Firstly, it depends on the branch you want. If you don't want to pursue anything but information sciences you'd have to go to ITGGU. I'd recommend NIT Raipur over ITGGU because of the better exposure and the NIT tag as well. Ofcourse both colleges are really good but if you aren't interested in biomedical sciences NIT wouldn't be the right choice for you.
You could get a prediction of all colleges available to you based on your jee ranking using the link given below for careers360 jee main college Predictor
