Which course is best to cover the syllabus of zoology opt. in upsc among bsc biomedical science and bsc zoology?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 14th Oct, 2019
Hello,

Its really impressive that you are so serious for the preparation of the exam and already implementing strategy. Now, coming to question first of all let me tell you zoology as optional in UPSC is good option but do keep in mind that their syllabus is what you need to cover very deeply and its not becesaey that it will be covered by your graduation course.
I would suggest you to go through UPSC official website and check and observe the entire syllabus and also past year question as that would be enough to decide which subject to choose.

I hope this helps.

I would like to appear for 2020 tancet for biomedical genetics. Im a zoology graduate. Will it be difficult to get a seat in the general category? How should I approach the entrance exam?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 11th Oct, 2019
Hello,

There is no rocket science in cracking an entrance exam of a college. It is very easy doable if you put  a right amount of time and hardwork in preparation. And most u importantly have a proper strategy.

Time management : It is the key so keep a proper management of time and give equal time to all subjects.

Study material : The right study material matters a lot for good preparation and scoring well in any examination. Always go for the best study material and trending books to crack the exam.

Past year papers : Never underestimate past year question papers. You should solve previous years question papers and sample papers for better preparations.
Solve mock test which is available on the internet. This will help you to increase your speed too.

Revision : It is the most important part.Complete syllabus in time so that you will get enough time for revision. Revision is very important before going for the examination because revision helps in polishing all those things that you have studies and stored.

In the end take of your health and try to stay positive.
