It's very hard to say the exact number of students but the average package in the KIIT University in the branch-like CSE and IT is 5 lpa. However, there are also some students who get the package below this. your sincerity will decide your package at the campus.

Rank you secured is appreciating. But getting the branch Like CSE (which is at the highest demand in KIIT campus) at this rank is probably not possible. However, you may get Information Technology at this rank which is very good and the placement scenario at the campus is very fascinating in these years.

if you attend the campus on the reporting date it would be very good as in the first week you will be provided with the schedules and you could be able to know about various functionalities of the parts of the college. but if due to some very necessary reasons if you are unable to attend the college, you may attend within 15-20 days with valid reason.

Based on the previous year cutoffs, you should be eligible for Electronics and Communication. But you won't be eligible for CSE branch.

CSE closing ranks have been hovering around 5500. The trends would not change drastically this year as well.

First of all Congratulations for securing such a good rank in KIITEE exam. With this rank you can easily get branches like ETC,EEE,EIE,ECSE as well as some derivative branches of CSE like CSSE,CSIT and IT.In the first round of counselling you may not be able to get a pure CSE branch but in the second counselling you can surely get into CSE branch.Just have patience and attend the counselling.
