Hello Suchanda,
KIITEE is a free entrance examination. So people who may not pursue law even give it a try. Morever it is conducted all over the country so the figure might be in lakhs!
The University claims that the exam is given by 2 lakh applicants but they don't mention that the applicants includes the students who have applied for programs in B.Tech,BBA,LLB programs.
So,Approximately 10K-20K students apply for the law exams.

Hello aspirant,
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is one of the topmost technical institute. It offers various courses and one of them is BTech. In BTech also it offers many courses such as in CSE ,IT ,ECE,ME,CE,etc.
The fees structure at KIIT for BTech in CSE( per semester) is as
Tuition fees: 1.5 lakhs
Hostel fees ( non AC 3 beded): 21000
Mess fee:15000
Examination fee:1000
Semester registration:1000
Further about 75000 rupees is to be paid which includes councilling fees, laptop, vision, blanket, spoon, other utensils, etc. This is one time pay and the rest fees is for per semester .
KIIT revises its fees structure every 3 years.
There are many scholarship available at KIIT which is provided on the financial status of the students and also to the KITEE topper and the students who tops in university exams .
Therefore the total fees per semester would be around 1.9 lakhs and 75000 extra at the time of admission.
If you get any scholarship then it will be only for a single semester . Suppose you get scholarship at the time of admission then also you have to pay around 1.25-1.5 lakhs + 75000 extra charges which would become a total of 2-2.5 lakhs for the first semester and after that 1.7-1.9 lakhs each semester if no scholarship is awarded.
Therefore the total fees for 4 years would be around 15-16 lakhs( without scholarship) and around 12 lakhs (if scholarship is awarded).
Hope this helps. For any further queries feel free to ask.
All the best!!
Regards.
Hi
In KIITEE 2019, you can get CSE with a rank under 4,500. Since your rank is close with 5,118 rank, you may get CSE at KIIT but you will get other branches for sure.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
THANKS SIR...FOR GIVING TIME
Hello,
Keeping the previous year cutoffs in mind, I assume you are very close to get CSE(computer science engineering). Last year cutoff for CSE was 5044 which lies almost in the range of rank you have got, i.e. 5118. Also please note that cutoffs depend upon various other factors too, like difficulty level, number of students who take the test and the number of seats available. According to your rank, you may get computer science.
All the best!
Hello Aditya
Congratulations for securing a decent rank in KIITEE exam. KIIT never discloses the marks obtained by the students in KIITEE exam. So it is difficult to get an estimate idea about the score. On the basis of your KIITEE rank only you are alloted the branch.
Hope this helps you !

This seems to a nonsensical question, what is need to know the number of students appearing in an exam. You just need to focus on your preparation.
By the way about 60-70 thousand students choose to appear for the kiitee examination to get admitted into the kalinga institute of technology.
Hello Arka,
KIITEE had announced that merit list will be displayed at 14:00hrs. There is dealy on dispatching the merit list. It will be available with you soon. The reason of the dealy is not so mentioned in the site.
At this stage of time I can only guide you that you either refer the official site https://kiitee.kiit.ac.in/ or wait for some time. As when list is out you will definitely know.
Hope your query is resolved. Wish you best of luck in your future endeavor.
Considering the past year closing ranks trend, your chances of securing a seat in Computer Science Engineering at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is bleak.
