KCET is an entrance exam restricted to Karnataka students only, since, you belong to UP, you will not be able to apply for KCET.

These are the exams you can apply in :

  • JEE Mains (the application is over for 2018-19)
  • UPSEE (fill here - https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/upsee-application-form)
  • COMEDK UGET

Dear Tushar,

For someone, who has prepared well and all the fundamental concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics none of the two exams are difficult.

 

But the difficulty level of KCET is considered to be a little on higher side as compared to COMEDK UGET. Though it can not be

Hello,
Yes definitely it will be good.You will have many options left with you if your one exam goes bad or can't score good marks in it.So you should apply for top colleges like BITS,VIT as early as possible and try to prepare hard for all of them.

need clarity on how much percentage of board results will be considered for KCET ?

Hello Sharmila,

To be eligible for KCET, you need to score minimum 45% marks in aggregate in your board exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects.

can a student apply for the Domicile Certificate of Karnataka, if one of the parent has studied in Karnataka?

either of parent's was domiciled in the state of Karnataka, such candidate should have passed the qualifying examination from a University or Board or any other Institution located outside Karnataka and should be residing outside the State of Karnataka as on 1st May of 2010.

Candidates are able to fill KCET 2020 Application form through online mode. KCET Registration 2020 is available from 5th February 2020. The last date to fill application form will be till 2nd March 2020. Candidates must make sure to go through the eligibility clauses
