No, this is just a rumour because there is no such official information out for its cancellation. Also, the notification for KCET 2018 test will be out in the month of December 2017 and the exam will be held in first week of May 2018 tentatively.

B.Sc in Genetical Engineering is not available there in M.S Ramaiah College but generally the admissions in other courses like B.E/B.Tech are done through KCET, COMEDK and Management quota as well.
