Yes you are eligible to give KCET as the eligibility criteria states that the candidates should have studied and passed from a recognized institution situated in Karnataka. The academic study from a state institute should be for a minimum period of 7 years, starting from 1st standard to 10+2

Earlier the KCET 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on April 22 and 23 as a written test. Due to the COVID19 pandemic outbreak it is rescheduled and the dates are not yet confirmed.

Yes , you will be absolutely okay as all the important information will be shared to your registered email ID and phone number.So you don't really need to worry about as you will receive the information through an SMS and email ID both to your primary mobile number.

Yes it will be considered as local board since the criteria says that for minimum of 7 years one should have studied in Karnataka in any of the educational institutes recognized by the government of Karnataka and yes CBSE is a recognized board. So for KCET you'll be confused considered

To be eligible for giving KCET candidate should have studied for minimum 7 years and passed from a recognized institute in Karnataka (1st standard to 2nd PUC/12th standard) as on first week of July 2020. So as your brother has not completed minimum 7 years of studying in Karnataka
