Hi Sriram,

See the counselling procedure of any exam be it KCET or JOSAA etc don't work that way. If you had locked your preferences before to a particular list and were alloted a choice of higher preference there is nothing much you can do to get a lower preference.

Hello aspirant, 

Yes you can appear for kcet though you belong to Andhra pradesh. Because even after separation of Andhra and Telangana students are able to take examination in both the states.. So similarly examination can be taken anywhere but only thing is there we become nonlocal candidates.

Is KCET applicable for mbbs candidates?

Hello,

It used to applicable but now only National level entrance i.e. NEET is taken into for admission in Medical Field for MBBS or BDS. If you are domicle of Karnataka then you can use the state quote or home quota. But you have to appear NEET only.
