You have got a good rank if you belong to reservation quota. You are within the least rank required to get into any branch in SIT ( cut off for all the branches is above 24k in 2018) so you hold a good chance to get into SIT.

There are many private colleges like Chandigarh group of colleges, rayat and bahra University, Chandigarh University, chitkara University etc. You may go for these colleges .
