Veerashaiva lingayath has been included in 3BCcategory and backward class.They deserve 5% reservation for their backward class community.
They cannot be included as general category.
Veerashaiva lingayat community is a backward class whose prophet basavanna preaches The Hindu religion who has a believe for non ritualistic worship to Lord Shiva. They hold strong community in Karnataka. Out of 224 assembly seat they hold hundred seats there.

As you have only asked about the rank according to government colleges that means you are not intrested in any specific branch, So i would like to inform you that is you only asking about the minimum KCET rank for the General category, then your rank should to be less than 20,000 in the KCET exam to secure a good government college in Karnataka.
