Rashmita Paul 29th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As your  NEET score is 200. As such  your Overall Percentile is: 61.63 - 62.23 and when it comes to rank, your Predicted Rank is : 535336 - 610486. Also it too depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India quota  and 85% state quota seats in government colleges. There comes 27 % seat reservation for OBC category.

In Karnataka there are 18 government college with 2550 seats for MBBS.  And for BDS there are 3 government college with 160 seats.

Dear student

Veerashaiva lingayath has been included in 3BCcategory and backward class. They deserve 5% reservation for their backward class community.

They cannot be included as general category.

Veerashaiva lingayat community is a backward class whose prophet basavanna preaches The Hindu religion who has a believe for non ritualistic worship to Lord Shiva. They hold strong community in Karnataka. Out of 224 assembly seat they hold hundred seats there.

Hello Sir/madam - Till what KCET Rank will the General category candidates get addmission to Karnataka Government colleges

HRITIK SINGH ANAND 27th Aug, 2020

Hello Monica,

As you have only asked about the rank according to government colleges that means you are not intrested in any specific branch, So i would like to inform you that is you only asking about the minimum KCET rank for the General category, then your rank should to be less than 20,000 in the KCET exam to secure a good government college in Karnataka.

As there are few government college you can apply for:-

  1. UVCE, Banglore
  2. Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Banglore
  3. Government Engineering College, Hassan.
  4. Government Engineering College, Haveri.

Hope you will find it relevant.
