Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well
Based on your rank and category you have slight chances to get into your preferred college.
But try to put some back up option as cutoffs tend to change every year based on various factors
Fill the application based on your preference irrespective of cutoffs
Hope this helps you
All the best!
Hello, The pgcet will allot the rank up to 2000 for the candidates getting admission through gate scores. You need not deduct any ranks from yours. Just think of gate score as a separate category of reservation and hence you will be given allotted based on pgcet scores only. Virtually there are 1000 persons above you in your category and not 3000 peoples. You can visit this link for details about the counselling process https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/karnataka-pgcet-counselling#Karnataka-PGCET-2020-Counselling-Schedule

Hello!
Can you be more specific about the topic. If you want to know about application process for particular college we can provide you with that. If you are about to query on JEE and NEET then there has been no recent notifications by NTA for both the domains. But it is expected that the application form will be out by First week of December, there can even be a slight delay that is due to this pandemic.
We could provide you with more details when your question is more specific.
ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was of some help.
Thank You
Hello student
For qualify in Karnataka PGCET for MBA candidates have to achieve at least 50% marks that is out of total 100marks it is 50 marks.
You have got 45marks in PGCET MBA Karnataka.
So sorry to say there is a less chance to get admission in MBA courses in Karnataka through PGCET Karnataka for MBA.
Hope this will be helpful.
Hi.
Karnataka PGCET MBA Exam has a relative marking that means the highest mark whatever they are, are regarded as rank 1 or 100 percentile.
That means, if someone with 90 marks is highest, he/she has rank 1 and someone with 89 marks will have rank 2. If there are 5 candidates with marks 88 then there is a tie breaker.
If the marks/ merit of two or more candidates is tied, the following method of tie-breaker will be used:
The total aggregate marks in the qualifying examination of the candidate will be marked. The higher qualifying marks will gain higher merit. If the marks are equal again, then the age of the candidate will be taken in account, where the candidate elder in age will get higher merit. Still, if the merit is tied, the merit will be determined by draw of lots.
So the rank cannot be as such approximated. If you have any more queries please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck

Hello applicant,
*To count the rank of PGCET of MBA that's based on on marks obtained in PGCET exam. As if candidate obtain marks 90 get rank 1 and rank 2 for 89 . When if some student get the same marks than there are marit tie breaker methods to count the rank of the student.
*Also rank of a particular candidate depends on not only marks of the candidate but also various factors such as number of students seated, seat availability, difficulty of exam etc. Accurate rank prediction cannot be achieved and we can only draw inference from previous year results.
