can i get seat in skaust kashmir on 42 marks

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 10th Oct, 2020

Hello

You have not mentioned the exam in which yiu got these  marks, nor the cpourse you want to get admission in. For BTeh you need to have scored around 47 marks so with 42 it is possible that you might get a seat in the 3rd round of counselling but for PCB stream , if you are from open category, chances are that you will not get admission here. I am from kashmir.i got 502 in neet uG 2020.i have ews category. Is there ny chance of getting seat in mbbs collage. Or any chance of private seat in ASCOMS

Dr.Chhavi Srivastava 1st Oct, 2020
Hi , jammu and kashmir has 100% state quota and as per the marks you have mentioned you have fair chances of getting a seat in government medical college under state quota as last year least marks to secure a seat from OM category under state quota was 476 in government medical college rajauri.
And in ASCOMS sidhra jammu was 489 .  You can present your ews certificate at the time of Counselling to avail it's benefits .
Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.
