Both of them are of private ownership and not deemed to be universities. However, both of them are very sought after universities when students are not eligible for government medical colleges. They are expensive compared to the government colleges.

No.chances are nil as closing rank is around 23k. I Would suggest you to go for state councelling.Or else you have the potential.work hard for one more year and you will get some good govt. College. Also mbbs frm private college can not earn you the respect you deserve

cutoff for KMC Manipal in 2018: 494 marks was the cutoff in the first round, and it went up to 506 marks in round 2 and went up further to 521 marks during the mock up round.

If you follow the previous pattern of selection you'll realise a score above 500 is mostly a safe score to secure a seat to pursue MBBS .
