what is the y clause in kea ugneet? is that only applicable for non Karnataka applicants?

Shivam Gupta 16th Dec, 2021

Hey Aspirants,

Hope you are doing great,

The clause-Y in KEA UGNEET and criteria is as follow:

Qualifying degree certificate Stating studying MBBS /BDS from the outside the state of Karnataka (PDC/Pass/completion certificate will be accepted only for candidates who have passed MBBS / BDS during 2019)

Apart from the above documents, the other documents to be compulsorily produced by the candidates based on their eligibility.

I hope this will help you.

Best of Luck :)

hi I have selected option 2 in kea and paid the fee for engineering, now can I cancel get the amount back ? please tell me the procedure

Rituparna Priyadarshini 16th Dec, 2021

Hello.

There are certain rules that you need to follow in order to get full refund. You need to visit the kea office and get a cancellation form. You nee to then fill it out, get the admission order , the verification slip, the challan through which the payment was made and a DD or demand draft of 10k as penalty. Then they will give you the full fees back. You need to do it immediately.

i m non karnataka candidate . gen category , i secure 231 mrks .. 68 percentile . can i apply for Kea ? when i trying to apply it show " ur neet mrks is low "

Piyush 15th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doping absolutely fine.

With reference to your above said query, I would like to tell you that your marks and percentile score in neet 2021 is very low, so the chances for you to get any seat in kea is likely to be very less too. Since you mentioned that you belong to the general category, so for general category candidates the cutoff marks if very high and with this marks and score it will be little difficult for you to get any seat via kea.

The cutoff varies every year and is different for different year as it depends on the various factors like difficulty level of paper, number of candidate appear in an examination, previous year cutoff trends etc.

Further, you can check the neet ug college predictor tool to get more information about your admission in other colleges :

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Further, you can also check the rank predictor tool to get your rank and percentile score :

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

Also, check the neet cutoff articles to get more information about neet cutoff trends :

I hope that this will help.

Can I apply for mbbs in Karnataka state(KEA) for non karnataka students?

piyush singh 14th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Yes , you can apply for MBBS in Karnataka State even after being a non Karnataka Student through All India Quota but the numbers of seats are very less for AIQ students as  there are total 9,345 MBBS seats and only 15% of those (around 1400) seats are available for students through AIQ.

You have to apply through NEET UG counseling which will be conducted in online mode.

Hope this helps.

Does KEA consider category rank during neet counselling??if i really belong to reserved category... And If I go through state Counselling.. Will the seats get alloted on the basis State Ranking or category ranking or AI Ranking.???

monstwerdash 7th Dec, 2021

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well . See,the main rank that is considered during counselling and seat allotment is your NEET All India Rank . Category ranks and state ranks are derived from NEET AIR itself . They are not some different or unrelated ranks to your NEET AIR. If you have a good NEET AIR,you'll have a good category rank (if you belong to any reserved categories) and a good state rank too. So,the prime factor which  is considered while seat allotment is your NEET AIR be it by KEA or some other counselling authority.

Hope my answer helped.

hello I have already joined engineering college through kcet counselling but i want to try for medical too. what is the process if I want to join medical through kea neet counselling?

Jatin panchal 11th Dec, 2021

Hey Deepthi

Yes, if you appeared for both medical as well as engineering entrances then you can also apply for the counselling processes of both in your state,(i.e. in Karnataka) separately.

There is separate counselling for both these fields, so if you are eligible for both these fields then, you can also eligible for these medical as well as engineering counselling.

Also, there is nothing like cancelling of one if you appear for other.

After getting seats in any of these fields just go and take admission there. Also, if you get seats in both medical and engineering colleges then, its till you to select the field one by your choice.

So, i will suggest you to apply for both these counselling without any worry.

Good luck.
