Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination
Hello..Arjun..
According to the last year cutoff reports or trend, the rank you get at this marks that you scored in keam entrance examination for admission in engineering colleges are not enough to get admission in good colleges under keam in branch like CSE,ME,EE. But their are several colleges which are at lower in ranking by organization under keam are easily available for admission at this rank..
Good luck and you can ask more queries regarding this in comment section...
Hi Sneha, if you are talking about JEE Mains exam, the boards marks are not included in the rank calculation in any way. Your mains rank depends solely upon your mains performance and the marks you have obtained in the same as the sum total of all the three subjects.
The ranks of jee mains have been declared on its official site. You can check the same by logging in with your id and password.
All the best!
Hi ,
So you need to use the help of a rank predictor to know the range of your marks . You need to specify your 12th stream and also individual marks in PCM subjects . But according to my estimation chances of getting into a Government college are not so high but it also depends on your category so do not lose hope. Also apply at all private colleges because you have a high chance of admission.
To know the closing ranks all colleges please do check this site.

Hi!
I am assuming that you want admission in B.Tech.
For securing admission in Kerala by KEAM, you are required to pass Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
You must have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together to become eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges.
So, it is not possible for you to get admission in Kerala. Try to apply for some other entrance examination and study well.
Best wishes!
Hi Elvin,
KEAM marks are calculated along with your board percentage. Both of them are taken in the 50:50 ratio. The KEAM marks that are out of 960 are standardised and made out of 300. Similarly your board marks(either cbse, isce or state board) are also made out of 300. Then the total marks are calculated out of 600. So this is how your KEAM score can be in decimals.
Hi Sukanya,
Congratulations for getting such good marks in PCM to your friend.
According to your friend's marks her expected rank is 25k to 27k. With this rank it is possible to get civil engineering.
All the best to your friend!
You will get an approximate rank of 2070 in the KEAM entrance examination. With this rank, here are some of the branches that you can get in CET:
