can we write Kerala b pharm lateral entrance test after completing d pharm from Karnataka ? Is that possible i have domicile certificate of Kerala

pdwords Student Expert 2nd Feb, 2022

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for BPharm Lateral Entry Exam in Kerala is as follows

  • Candidates need to hold domicile of Kerala
  • Candidates are required to pass diploma in pharmacy from an institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India securing 50% aggregate
  • Also, they are required to obtain registration with the pharmacy council as it's mandatory at the time of counselling,
  • There is no upper age limit regarding this,

now coming to your query, as long as the institute from where you have done DPharm it's recognized by PCI and you have the required aggregate, registration certificate, you can appear for the entrance test the only condition is fulfilling the eligibility criteria,

i scored 468 marks in neet 2021 ...so far along with all india quota i have applied to Kerala ( my domicile) , Karnataka and Tamil Nadu...i am a general category student ...do i have chances

Moumoyee Chakraborty 2nd Feb, 2022

Dear applicant although 468 marks is insufficient to confirm a seat of yours though there are possibilities that the cut off vary every year based on the number of students appeared in the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, the seat matrix of the Colleges. Now as you know being a candidate of General Category, the competition is way too difficult than we think. So yes possibilities are less, but hopefully you can get a seat in Private colleges. I got 10115 kerala rank in Neet2021 and 416 category rank (Other backward hindu) (OEC) . Please tell the colleges in kerala where Ill get admission for mbbs (govt or self finance)

ijazumar16 21st Dec, 2021

Greetings Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well. I see that you have scored 416 marks in your neet examination. With the marks scored it is not possible for you to get a government seat for MBBS. Anyways you could get a seat in private colleges through management.

MBBS or Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery also described as BMBS. This is a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree program. The first two advanced and professional undergraduate medical degrees are Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. It is probably one of the topmost degrees in the world and therefore by profession, after completing MBBS from top medical colleges , an individual is officially transformed into a medical professional.

These are few of the colleges in Kerala for MBBS.

1. Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Centre, Thrissur, Kerala.

2. Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, Kerala.

3. Sree Gokulam Medical College, Venjaramoodu, Kerala.

4. Azeezia Medical College, Meeyannoor, Kerala.

5. Amala Institute of Medical Science, Amalanagar, Kerala.

My AIR is 105698 and my Kerala rank is 7890. Can I get a govt bds seat in kerala(obc)??

piyush263001 20th Dec, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

It would have been helpful for us to help you with college details had you mentioned your marks you have scored in NEET examination.

With state rank you have mentioned It would be very difficult for you to get Government medical colleges in Kerala for BDS.

According to previous year data for State counseling for Kerala the last candidate to get a dental seat in Government Medical college In Kerala from OBC Category was in Government Dental College, Kannur with  rank 6112.

can i get govt bds seat in kerala my state rank is 21000 and belongs to sc category

Piyush 19th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that it will be little difficult for you to get a seat in bds college in kerela as your neet score is likely to be very less. ( It's still a prediction )

However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends you are likely top get various other colleges, if not bds college, as the cutoff changes every year.

Further, for more details on the neet cutoff trends, you can check the below article to know more : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

Further, you can also check the neet college predictor tool to know more details about other colleges for your admission based on your neet rank and percentile score :

Tanishka Chaudhary 17th Dec, 2021

Hello ,

I understand your situation, I must inform you that since you have cleared the cut off for neet you can apply to any self financing college in Kerala.

You can apply in online counseling for any self financing college. In case you don't get any college in online counseling you can further go and have conversation with the colleges for spot on round.

And here are some colleges in Kerala I have mentioned below. You can take this under your consideration.

1) SS private self financing medical college

2) KMCH Medical College

3) Dr. Somervell memorial CSI medical college    and hospital

4) Karuna Medical College and hospital

5) SUT academy of medical Science

I hope this helps you out. For further queries please mention in the comment box.
