Hi,
right that candidates who have equal to or more than 40% visual disability are not elligible in NEET UG exam. It is not just confined to visual disabilty only but also to other disabilities and that too approved disabilities.
All Medical Colleges across the world follow certain MCI guidelines when it comes to admissions. And every student who needs to avail the PWD quota has to get himself/herself assessed at the Disability Assessment Centres.
Person must have minimum 35% mental handicap or disability. Person must have an orthopedic disability of minimum 40% In case of deaf people the disability percentage must be between 90 db & 100 db. Visual impairment has to be more than 90%.
Candidates will be eligible to avail of the quota if the minimum degree of disability is 40% or more. Candidates must hold a “Certificate of Disability”, which should be issued in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules 2017.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
The Institution you have mentioned is the prestigious one. If you have completed either a B.A. or an M.A. with English as a major subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% ( 45% for Reserved category) marks on the aggregate you are eligible to apply for the course.
You can visit the official website for more information regarding admission procedure.
Hope you are clear
Thanks
Dear student,
There is no such rule that will omit you from the FEE WAVER SCHEME if you fail in any of the subjects.
The only condition which affect the student after the admission in the college is: the tuition fee waiver shall be for the complete duration of the course and students admitted under this scheme shall not be allowed to change institutions / course under any circumstances.
Hello,
The information you supplied is a little sketchy. Which college do you intend to apply to? There are colleges that are not connected with the Kerala Public Service Commission. The Indian Council of Nursing has approved the majority of the colleges, which are accredited by Kerala University of Health Sciences.
