Hi,
Both these courses are entirely different from each other. Apart from deciding which course to do, you must focus on your interest. See your interest and choose that course. Even if you choose CSE and you end up not having interest in it, it will pose problem for you. Both these institutes are good for each of these courses mentioned by you. However, you must make a choice on the basis of your interest.
Hi Aspirant,
Yes Kiet gaziabad has option for branch change after the 1st year.Almost every engineering college offers you with a branch change option after 1st year.Generally in first year the syllabus and its scope remains constant for every branch but after 1st year it changes.
But changing of branch depends on several factors like your yearly CGPA percentage, number of students and seats etc.So you need to study hard to avail this opportunity.
Hope it helps!!
Hello student
Any student who enjoys fees waiving status for his special category status is not eligible for get any type of scholarship.
This is the rules of Ministry of HRD in connection of scholarship to the the meritorious students if he does not enjoy the fees waving status means whose family income is less than 6 lakh per annum.
Hello Aspirant,
Since you haven't mentioned your rank , it's difficult to say whether you would get admission into KIET college into CSE branch. Usually for getting into CSE branch for any college ,you need a very good rank. Also, if you have State quota or domicile then it's more than good. Since for State quota students are preferred firstly and then other states students get preference.
If you have a good rank, then you can get CSE even from being an OBC category candidate.
But, since only 2seats are left as you have mentioned above, so preference would be given mostly to a candidate with UP domicile or state quota student with having a very high good rank.

Hello,
The choice of choosing the specialization is solely depends on your area of interest however KIET is undeniably one of APJAKTU's (formerly UPTU) best college and is much better than some Govt. UP classrooms. Speaking of the CS department, it's one of the best divisions of this college. In addition, KIET has a very favourable climate for the CS department. By climate, I mean the attitude of both teachers and students. I can't tell anything about the ability of teachers, but I think it's up to the mark. The college has CS student groups / teams such as ERP, LMS, etc.You will get several other benefits and visibility that are needed for this branch because of the NCR venue. Many start-ups and major businesses have visited the campus and provided beautiful packages. If for just some time you are serious and get an experience in specific stuff like PHP, Oracle, etc.
Dear Candidate,
As per the information provided by you, in both the courses you have to study nevertheless for Civil exams. Be it CSE or Plastic Technology, you have to make sure you study atleast 1 hour/day for your Civil exam preparation. Or atleast in the weekend for 4+hrs. In my opinion, either of the courses will not matter as you might be having interest in either of them. Choose the course which excites you while studying. We can just give you suggestion on the same, the final decision is definitely yours. Take every factor in consideration before choosing a decision. Talk to seniors from both the fields, connect with your seniors. Do a bit of research on your side too. How many hours you will have to study for college & for civil exams everyday. Plan it.
Thanks for coming on this site. Hope it helps.
