The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an annual scholarship program conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to enable students to take up research careers in the areas of Basic Sciences. KVPY exam 2021 has been postponed by the exam conducting authority until further notice. Earlier, it was scheduled to be conducted on 7th November 2021. Before you start off with your KVPY preparation, it is mandatory for you to have a thorough knowledge of the KVPY exam pattern 2021.
KVPY is an extremely competitive and tough exam. You are required to prepare for this diligently in order to crack this exam. Knowing the KVPY paper pattern 2021-22 will aid you in knowing the marking scheme, type of questions, etc. which, in turn, will help you plan your preparation better.
The aspirants have to attempt questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology within 3 hours for SA, SB, and SX papers. KVPY exam for SB/SX stream will be conducted from 2 to 5 PM. In Part II, each question will carry 2 marks and the candidates will be deducted 0.5 marks for every wrong answer.
Earlier, students had to go through the following two stages of the examination to avail the fellowship.

Hello, I hope you are doing fine, droppers cannot apply for kvpy in the year they have taken drop, but you can surely appear in your first year of any related course. So yes you can appear in the exam once you take admission and can appear in the exam in your first years.

As per the information available on the official website, The Hon'ble High Court of Madras, Madurai bench have given stay order to conduct the examination on 7th November,2021. As a result, the admit may not release now and it will be notified laterwards with the declaration of the new date of examination.

KVPY or Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a scholarship examination conducted by IISc Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
This year, the KVPY 2021 selection process has been changed. Now, students will be selected based on aptitude test only. There won't be any interview round. So there won't be any need of corona negative report.
