Indian Institute of Science or IISc, Bangalore provides KVPY scholarship for science students, known as Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. Students of class 11, 12 and 1st year of UG in basic science can apply for KVPY Scholarship 2021. Students who are selected in the KYPY Exam, are provided with a KVPY scholarship amount up to the pre-Ph.D level.
So Only1st Year UG Students Can Apply For this exam but not 2nd Years.

Candidates who are enrolled in the first year of undergraduate bachelor's degree in basic science like Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics and Biology leading to a B.Sc/BS/B.Math/B.stst/MS are eligible for SB Stream. Once selected as a provisional KVPY student, candidates must present a first-year study certificate.

The centres for the Kishore vaigyanik protsahan Yojana examination are allotted based on district wise for each state which means that the students were applied for a specific district Centre examination get in their allotted centres most often in the same district itself.

IISc, Bangalore has released the KVPY 2021 registration form on July 12, 2021. KVPY 2021 registration form is available on www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in in online mode only. The last date to fill the application form is on 28th August 2021. Candidates who have passed the class 10 exams and are eligible to enrol in Class 11 with science subjects during 2021-22, can appear for the exam.
