Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Examination
Hello,
Its very unfortunate that you have to go through this but since you have been tested positive for COVID 19 and you won't be allowed to sit for the KVPY Examination.
If the candidate possesses any of the Covid19 symptoms, then he/she will not be allowed to enter the premises.
Students’ temperature will be checked at the exam centre gate with a thermo gun and if the temperature of the candidate exceeds the upper limit then that candidate will not be allowed to go inside the exam centre.
There won't be any facilities regarding separate rooms for COVID positive examinees.
Further aspirants are asked to carry a self declaration form regarding COVID 19, to ensure they don't have symptoms of COVID and are COVID negative.
Students without this self declaration form will also be not allowed to take the examination.
Kindly take care of yourself and try not to stress about the examination.
Get well soon.
I hope you find the answer helpful.
Thank you.
hey there,
hope you are doing well and keeping fine...
so heres the answer to your query...
See as far as the omicron cases are concerned the way they are increasing day by day its likely to postpone the kvpy exam. There is really no surety about the final date till now since the cases are abruptly increasing and most importantly its going up as a huge mass number of people. So government wont take the risk at this point of time. Still i would recommend you to be prepared for even the worst of situations.
all the best..
with best regards..
Hello Aspirant
You don't have to worry about doing an extra section in your KVPY, there will be no major problem for you and so many students have done it in past as well.
Your final marks will be calculated on the best two sections which you did and your section with lowest marks will be neglected and will not be counted in your final marks , so if got lowest marks in section 3 your marks will be calculated according to your marks in section 1 and 2 and you will not loose marks based on it .
So it depend if your marks in section three are in top 2 or not , also please take care of these mistakes in future examination and read and understand the exam patter and instructions carefully
Hope this helps.
