Hello aspirant,
Below I have provided the required details about both the colleges -
Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology, Chembur :
K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai :
Now according to me both the colleges are good. However, K J Somaiya College of Engineering has better infrastructure, better facilities, better recognition and better placements. So KJ Somaiya will be a good option rather than Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology.
However, you can go through the below mentioned links and checkout the details about both the colleges -
Good Luck !!!
Hello
What I can do is to just give you a basic idea of what both branches would consist of. The ultimate ‘better’ one will be your choice. The core subjects are same for both in initial semesters like analog, digital electronics, communication circuits, control systems, signals system, electrical networks etc. The very simple answer to this question is “depends on your own interest”.
Let us start with EXTC at VESIT: The placement is like most of the students who apply for the placements get placed. To get placed one need to get fulfill the criteria of the company you apply, so one need to have equal to or more than 6.67 CGPA which is almost equal to 60 percentage and more one score. Faculty is one of the most helpful people in Vesit and they are available anytime for the students who have doubts. They are friendly and also they teach well that helps the students in their semesters to score higher percentage and gain higher CGPA.
The infrastructure of the college is fairly nice. Everything right from medical to educational, sports needs are fulfilled. There are always developments happening, and displince and cleanliness is always maintained. The Quality of canteen food and drinks is good.
Now for electronics in KJ Somaiya:
The placements were very good. 95% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was 15 lacs per annum. The lowest was 3.5 lacs per annum, and the average was 5 lacs per annum. Different kinds of roles were alloted to the students. All the major companies like L&T. TCS. Accenture. Capgemini and many more visited the college. The teachers are very helpful in solving your doubts. You will get a very good practical knowledge. All the lab assistants are very great and helpful in doing your practicals. This college is autonomous, so there will be no burden to the students. Wi-Fi is available in the campus. Huge sports ground and all indoor games available. There is a great library. The biggest sports event happens here, and all the curricular activities happen here. There is a huge campus. All equipment is available in the labs. Canteen is pocket-friendly, and it is of superb quality.
At the end of the day it is your choice. I have just presented the views of the students who are actually studying there and what hey think about the course annd the place.
K.J.Somaiya Vidyavihar is an autonomous Institute
It offers a B.Tech Degree Bachelor's of Technology is different from Bachelor's of Engineering. B.Tech is skill oriented and B.E is data oriented.
