Could i get cse in kj somaiya with 89.5 percentile in mhtcet and 82 percentile in jee mains and 65 percent in hsc having Gujarati minority?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 21st Jun, 2019

Hello,

the cutoff for CSE is in 4 digits at KJSCE. for previous year the first round cutoff was 607 for CSE and 3rd round cutoff was 922. It is same for other branches too. You have to look for other college where you can take an admission. In this percentile you can't get KJ Somaiya.

LOOK for other college where you can pursue the course satisfiedly.

you can get more details cutoff of KJSCE from the link :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/kj-somaiya-college-of-engineering-mumbai

Hope it helps!

Mayank Modi 15th May, 2019

Hey Vinit!

Hope you are doing well.

KJSCE offers B.Tech in 5 specializations. The candidates aspiring to pursue B.Tech must have passed HSC (10+2) level examination along with a valid MHT-CET/JEE Main score.

MHT-CET is a state level offline entrance examination conducted in Maharashtra and JEE Main is an all India level examination to be conducted in offline and online mode.

Admission will be done through Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) conducted by DTE.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission in KJSCE is that a student must have passed standard XII (10+2) level examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/technical/vocational subject  OR Diploma in Engineering and Technology with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates from Maharashtra Only) from a recognized university.
