Candidates seeking admission to M.D/M.S programmes need to appear and qualify for NEET (PG). Based on the qualifying marks achieved by candidates in NEET (PG), they will have to register themselves for NEET (PG) counselling. They need to select Medical College Kolkata as their first preference in the NEET (PG) counselling. They also need to submit all the necessary documents along with the required fees while doing the registration for NEET (PG) counselling. Candidates will get admission to M.D/M.S programmes based on NEET (PG) counselling, choice locking, document verification, merit and payment of fees.

For the MBBS programme at Medical College Kolkata, candidates must complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS course. They must have passed the higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study. The last two years of study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training.
