Now, the highest and average package for CSE of KCT is better than that of SVCE and the course fees of SVCE is lower.

So, you decide which will be better for you.

Based on the rank you have obtained you might have a chances to get admission. So don't lose your hope and make sure to apply for the counselling rounds. Apply and appear for the counselling session as you have a chance to get admission in many of the best colleges.

As per your rank in TNEA 2019 and in accordance with your category, you cannot get a seat in IT branch of KCT. The IT branch of KCT closed at 6261 in 2018. But you can get other branches in KCT such as Civil Engineering, Mehanical Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or you can apply for other colleges under TNEA. Good luck.

By refering your TNEA and community rank you will get placed in KCT or CIT for both Computer science and engineering and electonics and communication engineering.But as far as in PSG and GCT you have slight chance to get placed in those colleges.

Hey there Dharshini, seems like you category rank can get you almost all branches in KCT Coimbatore.

The only branch which is tough is computer science and engineering..

You can try for electronics and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering and easily get it.

To get seat in this government engineering college in ECE branch the minimum rank A BCM candidate must secure is 13076, to get a seat in CSE you must secure is 13401.

To fetch a seat in KCT for a MBC candidate in ECE branch the opening rank is 9605 the closing rank is 9983, to get seat in CSE the opening rank is 6538 the closing rank is 10405.

You have very good chances of getting in any of the above two colleges in either of the branches.
