CUET UG 2022 is a Computer Based Test and you have to appear for the test in the designated examination center where you will be provided with a desktop to take the test. It is not a remote proctored exam so you do not need mobile phone or laptop. The exam pattern is as follows

• Language of Test: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu (Student can select one regional language and English is the default language)
• Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions
• Exam will be conducted in two slots. Slot 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12:15 PM. Slot 2 will be conducted from 3 PM to 6:45 PM.
• There are 4 sections

1. Section IA - 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)
2. Section IB - 20 Languages
3. Section II - 27 Domain Specific Subjects
4. Section III - General Test

A candidate can choose any Language/Domain specific Subjects/ General Test or a combination as per the admission requirements specified for the course of the preferred University while applying. It is not mandatory to choose any one or more of the Tests/Subjects stated above. The choice of Tests/Subjects depends on the course opted by the candidate and the University where the candidate is seeking admission.

In order to purchase a laptop, there are various things to look before buying a laptop. Since you have mentioned that you need laptop for software engineering. So check these features for better reach and better use.

• User friendly laptop (easy access of data and setup of IDES)
• Space must be good since you need to download softwares as well.
• Build up quality must be good
• Preferring intel i5 processor
• Must have web cam and windows

Dell and hp has better laptop ranges. Also, the prices are quite good with the features included.

Asus vivobook is also a very good laptop.

There are tons of good laptop available on internet every laptop having different price and specification , since your main task would pe programming you can buy any laptop with 8 GB+ Ram , 256 GB + SSD , 1 TB HDD , a good processor ( similar of better than i5) and at last atleast 2 GB of graphic card because you will most likely start gaming .

No BDS course has no certain requirement of Laptop but in later stages when the candidate wants to upgrade his/her dentistry skills with the help of different technologies used for treatment then there might be the requirement of Laptop or PC otherwise there is no any specific tasks that cannot be completed without a Laptop in BDS course.

Nowadays it is hard to live without such facilities ,but don't give up , internet and laptop facilities are not something to crack the exam , exam can be crack by doing offline classes and with the help of books , if you face any problem ,contact your teacher as you don't have internet ,think about those days when there were no internet , students cracked exam at that time also ,so rather than making excuses it is better to study hard.
