Under 45k you will get laptops without a good gpu or a gpu which will be useless.

Preferably you go for a laptop for basic working and coding and some small softwares.Go for i5, 8gb ram and most important take one with a ssd or a ssd slot.One with type c slot is good provided by lenovo in most models.

See engineering itself is a technical course and you will need laptop in one form or another at most of the times. Peoples in computer science and engineering, Information technology or electrical and communication engineering have direct use of computers and if we talk about other branches such as mechanical civil they have no direct uses but they need laptops for creating digital assignments, writing essays and carrying research works. Writing thesis or creating reports is very common now a days which is impossible without laptops. However I will mention some branches with the lowest use of laptops:

• Civil Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Metallurgy and ceramics
• Mechanical engineering

In first year of engineering their are basic subjects and c programming subjects are studied. In offline not need the laptop for first year but in current situation classes are held online ,you can study on mobile. You need laptop from 3rd year of engineering. In entc engineering there are  Programming subjects and your interest in programming then laptop is having better. You can practice on desktop or laptop.

The problem you are facing the course of exam thatrelated to a laptop software which is not a matter of important criteria for or just pulling your exam and the cancellation  of your candidature for your HS examination. For this problem you have to  contact with directorate of  Board of secondary education for the  state of Maharashtra. Apply for remedies in online mode and pray for allowing you for appearing in the examination with the scheduled dates that  have been declared by them.

Any laptop with a ram of 8GB, rom of 1TB and a minimum of i5 7th gen processor core laptops would do well.

Above are minimum requirements. HP, Dell, Acer are preferable.

For an online examination the internet connectivity acts as a very important factor.

You could either use the wifi router if you have it in your home and connect your laptop with it or any jio or Airtel hotspot that would work absolutely well as well.

If you don’t have the above options then the last option would be to switch on your mobile data from your phone and connect it through the laptop.

But, the better option would be either of first two a wifi router or a hotspot connection for speedy and easy work.

Well according to me 8GB of RAM is enough to do all the basic things that any Computer Science Engineering student would be requiring to do.

>> Android Studio (Android app development)

Since your branch is CSE, your laptop becomes important part in your College. I suggest you to buy a Laptop that has 8 GB of RAM. If you buy Laptop with less RAM then it might trouble you because student have to install Virtual box and also setup multiple software so having 8 GB RAM would be good. Also try to buy processors like i5 or Ryzen 5. You will get Laptop with these specifications under 60000.

Since your budget is upto 65k so you can buy Laptop that has following specifications:

8 GB RAM + i5 or Ryzen 5 Processor . There are multiple brands that offers these specifications under 60k.
