Do mention which category you belong to ,if you belong to general merit you have very hard chances of getting dsce .

Yes, even if you have pursued B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, you can pursue Masters in Machine Learning. Now-a-days it hardly matters what UG degree you have because if you have the right skillsets to enter an industry, you are hired with huge salaries.
