How beneficial is MACHINE LEARNING WITH DATA SCIENCE in Btech for future??

rehan18alam Student Expert 27th May, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Machine learning and data science is indeed one of the most in demand skill right now and you'll definitely be able to make a very good career in this field if you do a btech degree in ML and AI.

However, there is one requirement in the ML AI field which is not in other computer related branches and that requirement is very good knowledge of mathematics especially probability and statistics. If you are not comfortable with these topics at the 12th level then you might find the probability in btech very hard and challenging.

So make your choice by considering this factor.

Thank you.

How does a Liberal Arts education(curriculum, learning method, etc) differ from a non-liberal arts education?

Yuthan N 5th Jun, 2020

Hi Ranauk,

Liberal arts colleges are specialized one.

It is focused only on well-rounded education and typically small in enrollment size. It has emphasis on undergraduate education. The education is  only as the classroom discussions. Not in the lecture level. There are only less competition to attain leadership. Sometimes these are described as miny-highschool because gossip spreads fast. But in non liberal National level recognition is provided. These are the basic thing about the liberal arts colleges.

Thank you

Is design meant to be learnt in a classroom or is it a skill that has to be in a workshop? How does a student go about learning design?

It's a combination of both because you are not just learning a skill. Design is the original liberal education because to be a designer, you have to understand people. You have to understand ergonomics, society, politics and at the same time, you have to be able to work with soft wares so there are lab and studio classes also and there is theory but even theory is not about just mugging up for an exam. It's about understanding the context and applying the context into the projects.

How students not even able to crack any engineering entrance exams with good marks start doing AI,ML, deep learning, python, android, web development, etc from firet year as they enter college.? Even they do competitive coding and do good . how is this possible if they even fail to pass in jee mains?

Anantika Kushwaha 15th May, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

Some students are expert in coding and they like doing it. JEE Main exam comprises of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These three subjects are completely unrelated to programming language. Those students might have failed in JEE as their expertise lies in programming which was not the deciding factor in the exam. They weren't able to show their skills in the exam however they can do it now as they are in college.

rajaman9300 Student Expert 9th Jun, 2019

Hello Sreenithi

If you consider last year cutoff's then you can easily get various colleges in Tamil Nadu. ThisYear's cutoff's will have a increment of 15-20 marks as compared to last year but still your marks is above all.

With this you can get Coimbatore Medical College, Madurai Medical College, Thanjavur Medical College.

Stanley Will be quite difficult but you can hope for that also.
