Hello,
Yes you can change your branch but it depends on the college you choose, because some college allow branch changing but some don't.
I would like to know answers to my questions.
Are you interested in computer science? Do you like programming? Do you atleast the know the basic programming language?
If your answers for the above question is YES, then yep! There will be no problem for you to face even in interviews also..
As you have completed diploma which is basically a 3-years course, so you will get directed to second year of B. Tech. If you have the knowledge in programming then no problem, if not then you will face difficulties for you to continue the study when compared to other students ( who completed the basic programming language which is C language in their first year) . But you should passion to learn programming, if you have zeal to learn by hardworking then no problem, I can guide you, if you don't programming language then learn it with the help of internet, in YouTube there are billions of videos for programming! You can utilize them to compete with other students.
Also in the interview if you have right skill set then companies are ready to take you on board.
You see, there are thousands of students who have completed their ECE or EEE and switched to software side.
So my final suggestion is unless and until you have zeal to learn programming and computer related skills by hardworking , you won't have problem at everywhere.
Hope you find this information helpful.
If you have doubts, feel free to ask here in comment section.
All the Best,
Thank you.

hi,
see Chandigarh University (CU) established by the Punjab State Legislature in 2012. the university is affiliated 'A+' Grade by the NAAC in the first cycle of the accreditation process. The University is approved by the UGC and the AICTE. now coming to the undergraduate course, bachelor of technology is most soughted course among the others courses like bsc, mba etc. college has excellent infrastructure and decent students faculty ration. placement is excellent as per the previous years records. Many popular and big companies visit our college for recruitment such as Google, Microsoft, etc. Every student is well prepared by the faculty members. I would recommend to go for cse course since the major recruiters are from IT mncs.
hope it would help.
