You will be glad to know that we have a way so that you can pursue both the BA and BE together ,see, ugc now has approved that one can do two courses simultaneously but there are a condition that one course should be from distance mode while other should be regular mode ,hence you can do BE which is professional course from regular mode in any college of India and can do BA literature from open universities like Indra Gandhi open university - IGNOU and also from school of open learning .Also many other universities are there which provide this facility to pursue distance course ,so whenever form filling process start ,be updated next year and fill the form .

You can pursue MA in English Literature even if you have not done your graduation in the same. If you have scored atleast 55 per cent in your graduation at an  aggregate level, you are eligible to apply for the admission in various government and private universities.

Yes you can apply for UGC NET in tribal and regional language or literature if you are MA in tribal studies. Check the syllabus and previous year question papers too which is easily available in internet to make sure you fit into that category.

The “cafeteria system” in EFLU is a system of pursuing your desired degree by selecting the papers you desire based on your own interest. Strict syllabus isn't imposed on you. There are choices of papers available and you are allowed to choose minimum 3 papers and maximum 5 papers per semester. Each paper carries 5 credits. And by the end of the 4th semester, you are expected to have studied 16 papers at the least and have earned 80 credits.
