Tell me DU colleges that provide BA LLB on merit base Tell me fees structure

Nikita shahi 30th Jul, 2025

Delhi University does not offer a 5-year integrated BA LLB course. Instead, DU provides a 3-year LLB program after graduation, through its prestigious Faculty of Law, which includes Law Centre-I, Law Centre-II, and Campus Law Centre (CLC). To get admission into these, you must appear for the DU LLB Entrance Exam now through CUET PG there is no merit-based admission to this program. Now, if you’re specifically looking for a 5-year BA LLB course after Class 12, then DU is not the right place. You can instead explore GGSIPU (IP University) which is also based in Delhi.Another option in Delhi is NLU Delhi, which offers BA LLB through the AILET exam. So, overall, none of these institutions offer admission to BA LLB solely on a merit basis.

As for fee structure, in government institutions like USLLS, the fees are quite reasonable — around 40,000–60,000 per year. In contrast, private colleges under IPU can charge 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh annually.

Hope you will find it helpful and all the best!

The llb program fees for entire course

Nikita shahi 30th Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,

If you're going for a government law college, then their fees range  10,000–25,000 per year. That means a 3-year LLB might cost you around 30,000 to 70,000 total, excluding hostels or extra charges.

But if you’re applying to private or deemed universities, the fees are higher  around 80,000 to 1.5 lakh per year. So over 3 years, it could go up to 4–5 lakhs.

Some top private law colleges like Symbiosis, Christ University, or Jindal Global Law School are way more expensive  the whole course. But they do offer great exposure and placements too.

Always check for scholarships or state reservation benefits you can might be eligible for fee waivers.

LLB colleges in Pune giving admission on the basis of Post graduation percentage

Nikita shahi 28th Jul, 2025

Hi Dipikaa,

In Pune, most 3-year LLB programs are open to graduates from any stream, including postgraduates, as long as you meet the minimum marks criteria it's usually 45% for general category and 40% for reserved. However, admission is primarily through MH CET Law entrance exam. If you’re looking for direct admission based on your PG percentage, very few colleges may offer that typically private colleges under management quota. But it's not common in top-tier colleges. Good law colleges in Pune include

  • ILS Law College,
  • Sinhgad Law College
  • DES Navalmal Firodia Law College. If you’re serious about LLB, I strongly suggest appearing for MH CET Law to get better options.

Thank you!

PU ba llb entrance exam syllabus

Nikita shahi 28th Jul, 2025

If you're preparing for the Punjab University (PU) BA LLB entrance exam. The exam generally has four main sections — General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, English Language, and Logical Reasoning. The paper is of 100 marks with objective-type questions. It’s a mix of static GK like history, polity, geography and current events, legal terms, simple grammar and comprehension, and logical puzzles. I’d recommend practicing past year papers too they give you a good grip on what kind of questions are likely to come.
