does a polytechnic student who did complete 3 year course of polytechnic have to write open inter exam in telangana to be eligible for tslawcet 5ydc llb course

Nikita shahi 25th Aug, 2025

For 5-year LLB, eligibility is 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent. A 3-year diploma (polytechnic) is usually not accepted as a 10+2 equivalent for the 5-year law programme. You have two realistic paths:

  • Complete Intermediate (you can do it via TOSS/Open Inter if needed) and then write TS LAWCET (5-year), or
  • Finish a graduation degree and then apply for 3-year LLB through TS LAWCET.

So yes—if you want the 5-year route now, you’ll need the Inter qualification first.

Thank you!

Has 3 year LLB admission started now?

Chelsie G 25th Aug, 2025

Yes, the admission process for 3 year LLB has already started in many states and universities. Generally, the application forms open between March and June, and most institutions close registrations by July. Counselling and seat allotments usually happen from July to September. Some universities take admissions through entrance exams like MH CET Law, while others consider merit in graduation. So, depending on the university you are targeting, 3 year LLB admissions are ongoing right now.

Which college is cheaper for llb

SEJAL JAIN 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello

If you're looking for a cheaper LLB college, government law colleges are the most affordable. Colleges like the University of North Bengal charge as low as 170 for the entire course. Government Law Colleges in Madurai and Coimbatore also have fees under 600. Prestigious universities like BHU and Delhi University offer quality education at a low cost, around 6,000–10,000 per year. These options are ideal for students seeking quality legal education on a budget.

I got 51% in LAW MHT-CET 2025. I did not get a college in the first two rounds because I wanted to do B.B.A. LLB. Now I want to change my course and do BA.LLB. So which college should I choose in the third round? I want to study in the colleges of Savitribai Phule University, Pune.

Taabia Fathima 21st Aug, 2025

Hey!

You have scored 51% and want to purse BA.LLB  under Savitribai Phule University, pune. The main campus offers  BA.LLB but its cutoff is usually higher,so it may be tough with your score.

However, there are many SPPU-affiliated colleges offering BA.LLB but most of them requires higher percentile. You can add them including the main campus, just in case cutoff drops, but you should go for practical options like

PES Modern law college

MES law college

Abhinav Education Society's Law college .

These colleges usually have lower cutoffs but it may vary slightly.

the safest option is to fill maximum choices of SPPU-affiliated colleges , you may get it in later rounds though it's not guaranteed .

is there any available seat in st soldier law college of jalandhar in BA.LLB?

SHUBHRADIP ROY 20th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Specific real-time seat availability for BA.LLB at St. Soldier Law College, Jalandhar , for the current admission cycle (likely for 2025-26, as 2024-25 admissions would be closed), is not publicly available online .

However, the college generally has 120 seats for BA.LLB. Admissions are usually based on 10+2 marks (merit-based) . To know if seats are currently available, you must contact the college directly through their admission office. Their official website (stsoldierlawcollege.in or https://www.google.com/search?q=stsoldiergroup.com) or the contact numbers provided there are your best resources.

I have filled the options for 3 years LLB course but I havent been allocated seat in round 2 as well what to to do?

Prachi Kumari 21st Aug, 2025

Hello,

You should wait for the next round of counselling. Keep checking the official portal for seat allotment updates.

Also, make sure your choice filling is correct and you have selected enough colleges.

If seats are still not allotted in further rounds, you may try in the spot round (if conducted) or apply separately to other colleges where admission is still open.

Hope it helps !

I have completed 2nd year LLB from this college in 1975 due to unfortunate circumstances my final year 3rd year was left out Now i want to complete final year. Please let us know how can i do so .

Chelsie G 23rd Aug, 2025

Since you have completed your 2nd year LLB in 1975 and could not continue your final year, the process to complete your 3rd year now depends on the university’s regulations. Most universities allow students to rejoin or appear as private or external candidates if a long gap exists, but policies vary. You should contact the university’s law department or the examination office directly, explain your situation, and request guidance on completing the final year. They will inform you about eligibility, documents required, and whether you can enroll in the pending year or appear for exams as a special case.
