Sayantika sur 20th Nov, 2021

IIITL students are highly focused to develop their college, not in comparing with other's.But when we come on comparison IIIT - LUCKNOW is doing literaaly good.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow is an Indian Institute of Information Technology in Lucknow that focuses on Information Technology. For its first academic session 2015–16, classes started from mentor Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad's campus.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad is a public university located in Jhalwa, Allahabad, in Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the nineteen Indian Institutes of Information Technology listed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

I think IIIT lucknow CS will be better than iiit allahabad EC.

Which is better, ECE in BIET Jhansi or Civil/Electrical in IET Lucknow?

ayanmukherjee045 17th Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

I would recommend you to go for ece in biet Jhansi as the colleges above neither comes in tier 2 or tier 3 colleges so it would be better if you take higher branch in lower cut offs colleges.

Apart from this in terms of placements and faculty iet lucknow is on a better place but you are getting civil or electrical so it is better to join non branch in biet Jhansi.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

I am scoring around 486 in neet 2021 belonging to sc category... Can I have a chance to get government seat in Kanpur, Lucknow.. etc

piyush263001 7th Oct, 2021

Hello,

Congratulations for scoring such decent marks. I would like to provide you some details that determine the cut-off for Government medical colleges.

Following factors determine the cut-off for medical colleges -

1) The total sanctioned seat intake

2) The number of applications received by the Institute for admission

3) The performance of applicants in the NEET UG exam

4) Category under which admission is sought.

5) Previous years cutoff trends, etc.

Since you seek admission in Government medical colleges in Lucknow and Kanpur so you have narrowed down your search to following three

Colleges that are-

King George's Medical University, Lucknow (KGMU)

Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow (RMLIMS)

Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College, Kanpur (GSVM)

So Based on the predictions ( which may vary after the results are declared) following will be cut off for the above mentioned colleges -

KGMU - 565

RMLIMS - 511

GSVM - 519

So Based on these predicted cut offs, your chances of making into these colleges look bleak, but you should wait for the results.
