Placements: The first of many features of IIITL, which makes this institute very fine from other new institutes, is its excellent placement record ever. Since the passing out year of the first batch is 2019, the placement statistics of IIITL are increasing. In 2018-2019, the highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, while the average salary package offered was 11.37 LPA, which is quite an achievement for an institute in its infancy. Faculty: Faculty members of IIITL are very qualified and experienced in their respective fields. All of them hold a PhD from prestigious institutes and have years of teaching experience. You can study sports as a compulsory subject because it facilitates physical well-being. There are no unnecessary subjects like physics and chemistry which are not at all useful. The coding culture of IIITL is also one of its distinguishing features. IIITL regularly conducts hackathons and coding competitions both among students of the college and students of other colleges.

Other: Seniors in IIITL are very supportive and helpful. There are also many clubs in which freshers can join. Those clubs are literary society named Crotonia, photography society named Afterdark, dance society and many more. This institute organises an annual cultural fest called Equinox, in which many events are held.

In my opinion you should go for IIIT Pune (CSE).

IIIT Pune CSE students are getting packages of like 40, 36, 22, 26, 31 lakhs. For the first batch of IIIT Pune average package was 7.58, but for the second batch, the lowest package till now is 11 LPA. It looks like IIIT Pune is going to break all the records this year.

Maybe IIIT Pune is going to be the next IIIT Hyderabad.

• IIIT Pune has shattered all placement records by an increase in Rs. 18.6 LPA from Rs. 11.4 LPA average CTC in just the first two batches of placement. Most new IIITs are not even close to 11 LPA average CTC offers.
• There are people saying over the internet that reviewers try to defame IIIT Guwahati, which is not the actual fact. IIIT Pune is actually ahead of IIIT Guwahati in such a short span.
• Students of IIIT Pune are passionate about contributing to the growth of their college and so, they provide positive reviews highlighting the good aspects of the institute. There are matters in which IIIT Pune is ahead of other newer institutes.

Now, its all depend on your interest, choose according to your preferences.

Then your second Choice should be NIT Jalandhar
