BTech is a four year UG degree course in Engineering. Now as you have done Diploma then you have to give lateral entrance examination namely UPCET. This examination will offer you admission directly to the 2nd year of BTech in Electronics and Telecommunication in any college in UP.

To know more about UPCET visit the link below:

I have got 98.45 percentile in jee mains 2021 and i belong to obc category...... can i get cse in iiit lucknow by considering the decrease incutoff and the 4 attempts ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Aug, 2021

Hi

With 98.45 percentile

Your obc rank will be around 4000.

It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes as per past year trend , you hold a good chance to get a seat in IIIT lucknow, computer science

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, 4810 obc rank for obc category for gender neutral got a seat in Computer Science (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) in IIIT lucknow.

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

This prediction is on the past year data basis but  cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

I am from Uttar Pradesh and my dreem colleges are IGMC Shimla, AIIMS RISHIKESH and KGMC Lucknow so for which college i should go ahed ?

Yash Dev Student Expert 31st Jul, 2021

Hello student all the colleges you've mentioned are one of the best medical college. If you get a chance to get admission in any one of them don't loose the chance and grab your seat.

As admission Is based on marks/rank obtained in NEET entrance examination. It's very difficult to clear the cut off. As cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination.

Eligibility - candidates must passed or appearing class appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and biology with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.

You can go with any one of them, I believe it's very difficult to compare the college you've mentioned with each other. Just try to score good rank so that you'll have  chance to get admission.

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt

Good luck

My AIR 8366 and I am Category rank (OBC) is 949. I am UP Domicile. will I get into RMNLU Lucknow?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 29th Jul, 2021

Hello,

You haven't mentioned if you are seeking admission to UG or PG course. Based on the information provided by you in your profile we consider that you are seeking admission to PG course. Last year a candidate with rank 308 belonging to OBC category (Home state- UP) secured admission to PG course in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. Based on the previous year cut off you do not have chances of getting seat in the preferred NLU with the rank that you have secured. But the cut off may increase or decrease this year depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below
