Last year BHU students intake for MA English went till 500 rank. So with a rank of 135 and 85 in female category you have a high chance of getting admission in BHU. There are 77 seats in total. 85 looks like a good rank for MMV. Hope for the best.

Hello Khushbu. Yes of course you can change your university after your 1st year. All you have to do ask your previous college to provide you with all the details that are needed by your new college in order to get admission. I don't think there should be any problem in changing university after the 1st year because students keep doing that.
Dear Ranjeet, National Testing Agency will release the JNU 2019 entrance exam result for viva-voice and non-viva-voice programmes anytime soon. JNU 2019 results was scheduled to be released on June 10, 2019. The result of JNU 2019 will be declared in the online mode only. After the declaration of JNU result 2019, candidates will have to register for the admission process which will be conducted after the JNU merit list is declared.
The exact date for the results has to be decided. You can wait until then.

The total seats in all the courses in the mass communication department of the BHU is around 70-80. So, with 296 general rank, your friend is not likely to get Admission in the Univesity.
